Karachi: MQM Pakistan convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has said that there are only two nationalities living in Pakistan, one oppressor and the other oppressed, we will now resist against every oppression.
He said this while addressing a public meeting on the occasion of the 39th foundation day of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan in Karachi. He said that he will gather the poor and oppressed people of Pakistan under one flag.
He said that the question is, have we achieved the goal of making Pakistan? We did not appreciate getting freedom, millions, crores of people had done the biggest migration in history, now MQM Pakistan will resist against every oppression.
Khalid Maqbool said that today Karachi has sent a message to the whole of Pakistan that the descendants of the builders of Pakistan had to fulfill their promise to save Pakistan, if even after 75 years the people are happy with their destiny, then nothing is going to change.
The convener of MQM Pakistan said that the representation of the residents of Pakistan is here, there are two types of people in this country, one is the ruler and the other is the subjugated, all the subjugated will gather with one voice and under one flag to fight for their struggle.
He said that strength is not our civilization but civilization is our strength, a new and fresh struggle has to be started to save the nation from slavery, if any movement is started for the oppressed, MQM will support it.
Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui further said that people ask us what is your narrative? So let me tell you that our history of 35 years is our narrative, first of all we have to provide constitutional protection to the poor of Pakistan.
Mustafa Kamal, Dr. Farooq Sattar, Nasreen Jalil and other leaders of Muttahida Committee also addressed the public meeting held at Bagh Jinnah Karachi.
