Petition filed against Maryam Nawaz, Rana Sanaullah and others


A case application has been submitted against Maryam Nawaz, Rana Sanaullah and others on the issue of action at the residence of Punjab Police Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan.

An application was made by PTI in Thana Race course, in which Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, IG Dr Usman Anwar, CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamiana, DIG Operations Afzal Kausar SSP Operations Soheb Ashraf, 18 SPs and police officers from the CIA, HQs and the President were also named as accused.

The application also provided details of the licensed arms of Zaman Park guards, valuables carried by workers and house staff.

It said that during the raid, the police took about 50,000 in cash from the employees, police clothes and 10 pairs of uniforms, documents, ATM cards and perfumes of the security staff were also taken, the hair of the domestic staff was also taken. Even the dressing machines were not left out.

The petition further stated that the weapons recovered by the police included 9 SMGs and 2 pistols. Arms license numbers and ammunition details are also attached with the application.

In the petition, PTI also demanded the formation of a judicial commission. General Secretary PTI Punjab Hammad Azhar sent a letter to the Chief Secretary.
