Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said on Sunday that he is going to court against every police officer who ‘attacked’ his residence in Zaman Park.
In a speech broadcast on YouTube on Sunday, Imran Khan said that he has told all his lawyers to knock on the door of the court against such police officers.
This announcement of Imran Khan came at a time when, according to IG Punjab, the police searched the residence of Imran Khan with a search warrant, where he faced resistance.
In a press conference in Lahore on Saturday, IG Punjab Usman Anwar said that the court spoke about the rule of law and told both parties that if you want to go inside the house, there should be a search operation and At the same time, the court also said that you should talk to each other so that it is easy to go inside the house.
The Punjab Police has claimed to have recovered petrol bombs from the residence apart from arms. However, Imran Khan has rejected all such claims.

According to him, the order of the Lahore High Court was that an ‘SP level officer can search his house only in the presence of a PTI representative.’

In response to Imran Khan’s allegations, Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said in a news conference that the PTI chairman is ‘trying to mislead the nation by telling lies continuously.’
